Frequently asked questions
Which skills should a developer CV include?
Your real stack, organized by family: languages, frameworks, cloud/DevOps, databases and methods. Tech recruiters look for coherence (not 20 superficial technologies) plus the results attached to them: performance, testing, uptime.
Should I list all my side projects?
Two or three relevant projects are enough, with a demo or GitHub link. Prefer one finished, well-explained project (problem, solution, result) over a long list of abandoned repositories.
How do I get past ATS filters?
A simple, standard structure, classic section headings, technologies written out explicitly (e.g. “JavaScript / TypeScript”) and nothing important trapped inside an image. Our templates are designed for that.
One page or two for a tech CV?
One page is enough up to about 8 years of experience. Beyond that, two pages are acceptable — but keep the first five lines sharp: that’s what recruiters read first.
Can I share my CV with a personal link?
Yes. Every CV gets its hightcv.com/@username link, public or private. Perfect for LinkedIn, online applications or an email signature.
Is the free plan enough?
Yes to start: 1 online CV, 3 templates, 10 AI generations per month and your personal link. No credit card. The Silver plan (€3.99/month) unlocks 3 CVs, 7 pro templates and 30 AI generations.
